Drawing on the experience of a recent chair-building streak with master maker Ejler Hjorth-Westh, the artisan set out to design a low-backed easy chair with a solid stance, harmonious curves, and most of all, a comfortable seating position.
Constructed with mortise and tenon joints throughout, the chair’s back and seat frames feature double bridle joints for additional strength. Carved armrests provide smooth tactile intrigue that encourage sitters to settle in and reminisce, plan an adventure, hold conversation, meditate.
